Improved Scheduling System at Technorama

Earlier this year we started implementing a new production scheduling system designed in house and tailored to meet the challenges we both have to face. We understand that fast and responsive production scheduling is not only the key to good supply chain management, but also the foundation on which our businesses are built.

Purpose

The Technorama Scheduling Information System is used to prioritize and schedule production across our manufacturing system, linking Your current inventory position, weekly inventory depletion rate, orders in progress as well as goods in transit to plan, produce, and deliver the faster moving products on time.

Benefit

By implementing the Technorama Scheduling Information System we are better able to forecast and plan manufacturing resource deployment, capacity utilization and market conditions to conserve resources, boost productivity and minimize production costs while staying in tune with your requirements.

Requirements

The Technorama Scheduling Information System is very much dependent on your latest sales report and take into account the following parameters:
- Current On hand inventory position
- Weekly Depletion rate for the last 4, 8 and 12 weeks.
- Products in transit within a 30 days range.

Feed Back

1) You are encouraged to keep us up to date by forwarding the latest sales report at least every two weeks.
2) Check the Technorama Scheduling System at least once a week for updates on production priorities and shipping schedules.
3) Keep us informed of your requirements ahead of time.
